VOLUNTEERING
Napanee Community Kitten Rescue is a network of volunteer foster homes. We work with local vets, businesses, and others to rehabilitate and adopt our kittens and cats to loving homes.
All our members are volunteers, and if you want to help the kittens, there are many ways to do so.

You could open your heart and home and be a Foster Parent. This is a critically important role, as we are not a shelter…but work as a network of Foster Homes. Our Foster parents are the folks who allow our cats and kittens time to get healthy, be socialized and ready for their new lives and families. More information about fostering is available.

You could help us with fundraising or an adoption event. We always need volunteers for set up and tear down, and often during the event. Also for Nail Trim events and Microchip Clinics.

You could put up posters for us or pick up deliveries of kitten food.

You could transport kittens to vet appointments or to foster homes or deliver food or medications to fosters.

You could clean carriers and dog crates or help with laundry after events.

We also need kitten and cat cuddlers for our animals staying in adoption centres, and at events…to de-stress them and keep them healthy and happy.

If you would like to, you could host your own fundraising event for our kittens. A bake sale…a yard sale…bottle drive, whatever you like.

There are lots of ways to help, whether you have lots of time…or just a little. The kittens of NCKR would be eternally grateful and so would we!
